Over 2 hours and 30 minutes, our local expert guides will take you on a journey back in time through the city centre of Belfast. I always thought I had a reasonable knowledge of 'The Troubles', but this tour made me realise that was not the case. My wife and I met our guide, Jim McGhee, along with 3 others. Having a small group was very good. Jim's knowledge was incredible, and his descriptions of the various locations and incidents really brought everything to life. The pace was leisurely, allowing us to spend time at each location while Jim recounted the history. Belfast is an incredible city, and we really enjoyed our short stay there. This tour was one of the highlights, and we can wholeheartedly recommend DC Tours. Thanks again, Jim, for a fabulous two and a half hours.

Jim was an excellent guide bringing home what it must have been like living in Belfast through the late 60's, 70's through to the into the 2000's. It was informative in a neutral way thank you

Superbly delivered Tour. Rory gave a perfectly balanced and superbly delivered tour. So knowledgeable and also full of empathy for the victims of the troubles on all sides. I highly recommend this tour.

A fascinating and hugely informative tour. James brought to life the terror & pain of Belfast’s troubled history in a sensitive, balanced & moving way. We all left it animated by the mine of information woven into a stirring narrative—convinced, in spite of everything, Belfast truly is a great city!

This is an excellent tour. James was a wealth of knowledge and opened our eyes to the history of the troubles and how we have arrived at where we are today. It was full of fascinating detail and human experiences which bought everything to life and all delivered with such passion, knowledge and wit. I loved the memorials to the forgotten victims of the troubles and stories of ordinary people caught up in the tragedy. Highly recommended.

Mylie was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. She brought the terror of the troubles to life and yet managed to end on a positive note.

Absolutely amazing tour. Jim was excellent, knew every little bit of Belfast, and was charming. Loved the personal stories around the troubles. Highly recommended

Phenomenal experience with Mylie- she was SO knowledgeable and educated and kept us engaged throughout. Im a NI native and had no idea about the amazing history of Belfast. Absolute 5 star tour!!

Excellent tour, very informative about some of the awful events and people involved in the early days of the troubles. The tour was led by Mylie who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. Gave an excellent insight to the macro issues as well incredible detail of individual events. I would highly recommend this tour.
